Depending on your output needs (Telcos generally want DC output, most others AC) your system may differ in design. But all systems begin with a smart Central Controller. This “brain” in a Hybrid Green System monitors all components, finds the most efficient means of supplying electricity to you. In daylight hours it will focus its 40% efficient solar concentrators and track the sun. Each array of 24 panels delivers more than 10kW of solar power for up to 9.5 hours a day rain or shine.
When the sun sets, your energy storage system will be full and will power your home, business, or tower for an hour or so. When your controller sees the batteries reaching a drained state, it will turn on the variable speed generator and seamlessly meet your energy load and refill the storage system. You will experience 3-6 of these cycles during the night, but your power will never flicker. On average, the generator will run in its noise cancelling enclosure for about 3-5 hours per day.
